We are pleased to announce that ten publications of Tattva Heritage Foundation can now be read online. The books open directly on this website, on a computer or a phone, and each can also be downloaded as a PDF. We hope this will bring these works to many readers who might not otherwise come across them. All ten are listed on the Scholarship & Publications page.
From the Marathi Translation Series, curated and edited by Manish Maheshwari:
- Vivekasindhu of Mukundarāja, translated by Madhavi Kolhatkar
- Horizons of Folk Culture by Ramachandra Chintaman Dhere, translated by Jayant Bhalchandra Bapat
- Marathi Muslim Saint-Poets by Ramachandra Chintaman Dhere, translated by Shubhangana Atre
From the Karṇāṭa Classical Series, edited by R. V. S. Sundaram:
- Naḷacaritre of Kanakadāsa, with a commentary by Geetha Naval
- Cūḍāratnaśataka, with a commentary by Akkamahadevi
- Rāmadhānyacaritre of Kanakadāsa, with a commentary by Nagaratnamma
And three standalone works:
- Kannada Paṇḍita Parampare, edited by R. V. S. Sundaram
- Bhāskara Śatakamu of Mārada Venkayya, translated from Telugu by R. V. S. Sundaram
- Śaiva Monuments at Pattadakal by Vasundhara Filliozat and Pierre-Sylvain Filliozat, in two volumes: Narratives and Architectural Drawings and Photographic Documentation
As the Pattadakal volumes are large, the photographic volume especially, they may take a minute or two to open.
Three other titles are available in print. Volume I of the Tantrāloka, translated with explanatory notes by Mark S. G. Dyczkowski, can be ordered from Harmony Books. The Vijñānabhairava Tantra, also translated by Mark S. G. Dyczkowski and edited by Manish Maheshwari, is available on Flipkart. For a copy of T. Ganesan’s critical edition of the Kāmikāgama (Pūrvabhāga), Volume I, please write to ganesan@shaivastudies.in.
We would be glad to hear what you think of these books, and to answer any questions about them. Please write to us at namaste@tattvaheritage.org or manishmaheswari@gmail.com.
